Transaction Processor Requirements

Suggested Hardware

  • Processor equivalent to a Pentium 4 2.8GHz or higher
  • 4GB RAM recommended
  • Minimum of 500MB of disk space for the application and associated files (1GB recommended)
  • Disk space required for logging depends upon the number of sessions and activity per session (a minimum of 50MB per session recommended)

NOTE: Greater hardware requirements may be necessary depending upon the number of sessions and the amount of activity per session.

NOTE: A new license key is required if you are upgrading to 4.3.x.x from Transaction Processor 4.2 or earlier.

Requirements for Windows

  • Microsoft's .NET Framework, Version 1.1, if using the .NET connector
  • Java Virtual Machine:
    • JVM Version 1.4.2 (Transaction Processor 4.2.2.8 or earlier)
    • JVM Version 1.5 (Transaction Processor 4.2.2.9 or later)
  • Both Java VM and .NET Framework are included on the Cleo Transaction Processor Installation CD.
  • 500 MB of disk space
  • Server with Network Card


Requirements for Solaris

  • Sun Sparc, Version 5.7 or greater
  • Java Virtual Machine: Version 1.4.2 of the JVM is require for Transactions Processor version 4 or later
  • 500 MB of disk space
  • Server with Network Card

Requirements for Linux

  • Red Hat Linux Enterprise server 3.0 or Red Hat Linux Enterprise server 4.0
  • Java Virtual Machine: Version 1.4.2 of the JVM is require for Transactions Processor version 4 or later
