AS2: A Proven Standard
Applicability Statement 2, abbreviated AS2, is the preferred standard for e-commerce communications, specifically among retailers and companies that realize the need for secure, reliable standards. Following Walmart's mandate to communicate with suppliers via AS2, the retail industry has gained confidence that AS2 communications are secure and effective for EDI. Along with Walmart, the growing number of companies supporting EDIINT AS2 solutions include Meijer, Food Lion, Lowe's, Ace Hardware, Do It Best Corporation, DaimlerChrysler, Michaels and more. CLEO LexiCom and CLEO VLTrader are certified for AS2 Interoperability by the Drummond Group, the independent testing organization for the Uniform Code Council.
